Commenting on the results of the report, Tara Doyle, partner and head of Matheson's Asset Management and Investment Funds Department, said:
“Matheson is delighted to be named by Monterey as the leading law firm in Ireland by assets under management for the 14th consecutive year. Matheson was also ranked first for funds transferred from other law firms during the year. These achievements have been made possible by the confidence our clients have placed in Ireland as a funds domicile and the investment we have made in our people, who remain our greatest asset. We are pleased to see the Irish funds industry continues on its growth trajectory, with overall assets in the Irish domiciled funds industry increasing by 15.9% in US$ value and growth of 2.8% in the number of Irish-domiciled funds.”
