A Matheson team led by Corporate M&A partner Brian McCloskey and associate Dan McAleese is delighted to have advised the National Treasury Management Agency (as controller and manager of the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund) in connection with its further investment in the Dublin-based medical device company, FIRE1, as part of a $120m Series B funding round. FIRE1 manufactures implantable remote monitoring devices that enable clinicians to remotely monitor patients suffering from heart failure.
