We are pleased to have advised Ares Management, a leading global alternative investment manager, on the structuring and establishment of Ares Senior Direct Lending Fund III (SDL III) from an Irish legal and tax perspective.
SDL III is the largest institutional private credit fund in the market to date, which attracted equity commitmentsof approximately $15.3 billion, surpassing its $10 billion target. With anticipated leverage and equity commitments in related vehicles, the total expected to be amassed bySDL III amounts to $33.6 billion. SDL III is nearly double the size of SDL II, its predecessor, which Matheson also advised.
