Matheson would like to congratulate our colleague, John Keating, on winning a silver medal at the Special Olympics World Games 2023 in Berlin.
Competing in the level 5 individual 18 hole golf event with athletes from all over the world, John secured the silver medal after three days of competition at the Bad Saarow golf course. A valued member of the Matheson Facilities team and active in the firm's golf society, John is now the proud holder of gold and silver Olympic medals and is a true inspiration to all of us.
Matheson was delighted to partner with Special Olympics Ireland to support the Special Olympics World Games this year - the largest inclusive sporting event in the world and one which embodies our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
We would like to take this opportunity to say how proud we are of John and all of the Team Ireland athletes for their achievements.
