Commenting on Matheson's achievements, Michael Jackson, Managing Partner, Matheson said: “We are delighted that Matheson has been recognised as both "Ireland Firm of the Year'' and "Career Development: National Firm of the Year" at the Women in Business Law 2022 Awards. These awards recognise the efforts and achievements of law firms across Europe in helping women to advance in the legal profession, and spotlight the most impressive achievements by women lawyers. We are honoured to be awarded in both of these categories which reinforces our continued commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion in the workplace aswell as our focus on mentoring, sponsorship, coaching, and talent management. In a week where our female / male partner gender ratio was ranked the third most gender-diverse in Europe, and first in Ireland, by The Lawyer in its European 100 Report 2022, these accolades further underline our dedication to invest deeply in effective diversity, equity, and inclusion practices. I would also like to congratulate April McClements on her recognition as Insurance and Reinsurance Lawyer of the Year, an award which reflects her market leading practice and also takes into account the positive feedback she has received from her clients and peers."

We have worked hard to build an inclusive workplace which empowers and supports women and we continue to develop business-led approaches to create a long-lasting inclusive culture and to promote inclusive behaviour.
